TOOL TRAILERS

The core of GITC Ministries/Get In The Car Missions

We didn't invent the wheel, we just kept it in motion.

Get In The Car originally piled tools into the back of a truck, but after the first trip saw the need for a tool trailer to be more work efficient and also more self sufficient. The tool trailer was donated after the first mission trip taken in January of 2006 and was ready for use by the second trip in March 2006. The trailer consists of tools that have been donated or have been purchased by donations. Both the tools and the tool trailer are funded purely through donations made available by people who have traveled with GITC, used the trailer for their own use or mission team, or who believe that God has put GITC into motion to serve as Christ’s hands and feet.
AVAILABILITY: Get In The Car has made the tool trailer available to any church in the Michigan Conferences of the United Methodist Church for local or national missions. The trailer is 5’ x 10’ and ready to go with tools including but not limited to: wrenches, screwdrivers, drywall equipment, painting equipment, and various roofing tools. . GITC does not charge for the use of the trailer. Advanced notification is greatly appreciated to complete necessary paperwork.
You asked, we responded. Get In The Car now has a second trailer available for use. This one is a bit larger, 7’ x 12’, and must be hauled by vehicles equipped with electronic braking systems.

Equipped with pretty much the same tools as the smaller trailer, it is ready to roll and available under the same considerations as the first.

Our goal is to have BOTH tool trailers in use 52 weeks out of the year. If you do not have tools for mission work at either the local or national level, we invite you to use our tools and tool trailers
